Aspire at Discovery Park is the first increment of development in a master plan for Purdue’s Discovery Park District, an initiative of the Purdue Research Foundation. This integrated living-learning community weaves residential units among academic and retail space. Apartments are designated for upperclassmen and graduate students, featuring tech-centric living with an integrated smart home experience (IOTAS). The mix of apartment layouts range from studio to four-bedroom. Each unit is equipped with high-speed wireless Internet and cable, in-unit washer and dryer, and marble and quartz countertops. The units are surrounding by over 10,000 SF of academic space, classrooms, thinker spaces and social lounges to promote collaboration amongst the students and faculty of the University. The ground floor features 8,000 SF of retail space occupied by Follett Bookstore serving the entire campus.
