Alan Askew serves as a Project Executive for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions.  Alan is responsible for the lifecycle of the firm’s campus development projects from pre-construction through vertical construction to the smooth transfer to operations. He coordinates stakeholder interest in the project, while managing the needs of higher education partners, consultants, and contractors.

Alan has 26 years of construction experience, 18 of which are in higher education where he oversaw the development of campus master planning and over $1 billion in completed university projects.  Previously, Alan was a Projector Director for Balfour Beatty Communities’ Air Force Portfolio.  In this role, he managed the development of military family housing privatization projects for the Air Force, which included managing demolition, renovation, new construction, and infrastructure improvements.

Alan resides outside of Austin, Texas and oversees the Whitis Hall redevelopment project at UT Austin.
