Richard Taylor is Chief Executive Officer for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. Rick is also President, Infrastructure Investments, for Balfour Beatty Investments in North America, with overall responsibility for the organization's strategy, business development efforts and operations.

Prior to his role with Balfour Beatty, Rick served in a similar capacity for GMH Military Housing, a division of GMH Communities Trust, a real estate investment trust specializing in the management and operation of military and student housing throughout the United States. Under his leadership, GMH Military Housing grew to become one of the nation's premier providers of privatized housing for military service members and their families. Rick also had overall responsibility for the commercial construction division of GMH Capital Partners, LP, an international corporate real estate company. Prior to joining GMH, Rick served as a Civil Engineer Corps Officer for the U.S. Navy for more than twelve years.

Bob Shepko is Division President for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. In this role, Bob guides the Company in both the development and execution of its strategy, overseeing the pursuit of new business and successful completion of all projects, as well as ongoing interaction with partners and clients.

Bob is a true industry pioneer, with more than 20 years of experience operating in the higher education development sector. His background with Balfour Beatty also includes a role as Senior Vice President of Project Management for Balfour Beatty Communities’ Navy housing portfolio, consisting of 19 military installations. Prior to joining the Balfour Beatty, Bob worked with Anderson Strickler Campus Housing and Real Estate Consultants, as well as College Park Communities, the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), and Cambridge Associates.

As Senior Vice President, Josh Smith has general responsibility for the Company's business development and marketing functions. Josh works with the team to customize financing solutions that allow clients to realize their vision for campus development, including administrative spaces, academic buildings, laboratories, athletic facilities, student housing and more. 

Prior to joining the Company, Josh served as Vice President of Development for Collegiate Companies, a turnkey real estate services company specializing in student housing, where he was responsible for business development, real estate development, and project management. He also worked as Director of Development and Leasing for Jackson Development, where he oversaw the development, leasing, and asset management of shopping centers, offices, and mixed-use developments. Josh is actively involved in NACUBO and SCUP and serves on the Apartments Committee and Program Planning Committee for ACUHO.

As Vice President, Amy Aponte has general responsibility for the Company's business and brand development. Amy works with the team to define and strengthen marketing and development functions such as brand strategy as well as client and industry engagement.

For nearly 20 years, Amy has been immersed in the campus growth and development industry, specifically in regards to student residential environments. Prior to joining the Company, Amy served as Principal for Hanbury Evans Wright Vlattas + Company, a global higher education architecture and planning firm. Amy currently serves on the Board of Trustees for the Association of College and University Housing Officers, International as well as the Board of Directors for Student Veteran House, a non-profit determined to create appropriate residential environments for veterans with visible and non-visible disabilities.

Sam Jung is Vice President for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. He is responsible for ensuring a streamlined project development process from bid stage to financial close. 

Before joining the company, Sam was a leader within Brailsford & Dunlavey’s Public Sector Advisory Group. He has supported the procurement and financial close to more than $500 million in public-private transactions for colleges and universities. His national experience positioned him to serve as an advisor for his clients in determining economic drivers for facility demand, analyzing funding mechanisms, and advocating on the owner’s behalf through development. 

Sam is an active participant in professional organizations including National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) and the Association of College and University Housing Officers, International (ACUHO-I).

Dan Savoia is a Senior Vice President of Development for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, responsible for implementation of the Company’s development and construction processes, including internal and external coordination and problem solving. With more than 25 years of experience managing the development of complex capital projects, Dan is adept at coordinating the interests of all stakeholders.

Prior to his work with Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions, Dan served in a similar capacity for Balfour Beatty Communities where he was a Development Manager, then Area Project Director, and finally Regional Vice President of Project Development for the company’s Air Force housing portfolio. In that role he managed the development of several complex Public-Private Partnership projects that included demolition, major renovation, new construction, phasing, and all site and infrastructure improvements.

Jeffrey Tate is the Director of Project Integration for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. He works with the business development and development service teams in project pursuits, planning and execution and has extensive experience in residential facilities and operations, residence life programming, project management and budgeting.

Jeff received his masters in Higher Education Administration from The University of Georgia and prior to joining Balfour Beatty, he served as the lead facilities manager for all residential housing at Emory University. He also has residential housing experience from prior positions at Wake Forest University, The University of Georgia, and Western New England University.

Jeff is an active participant with professional organizations including the Association of College and University Housing Officers International and APPA: Leadership in Educational Facilities. He also maintains a certification from APPA’s Institute for Facilities Management.

As project executive, Jen brings a high level of skill and integrity in providing oversight to the design and build process of a project. She is the point of contact from pre-construction, site, and vertical construction, through project completion. Jen skillfully coordinates stakeholder interest in the project, managing the needs of all university personnel, partners, consultants, and contractors ensuring that each participant experiences a fair and satisfactory outcome.

Jen has nearly twenty years’ experience in the construction industry. She was responsible for all aspects of development of four buildings (401 residential units) in the Parkmerced Vision project, the largest urban multifamily development in California. She also has experience with occupied remodels and historic renovations within San Francisco.

Justin Wright

As Project Executive, Dorne Dalrymple is responsible for providing oversight to the entire design and build process of a project, from pre-construction, site and various infrastructure construction, to the smooth transfer of project completion to the client. He also coordinates stakeholder interest in the project, while managing the needs of all governmental agencies, the university, partners, consultants and contractors. Dorne successfully delivered Phase 2 of the Northside mixed-use development including 900 residential beds. He also oversaw the development of Aspire at Discovery Park, an 835-bed mixed-used apartment community featuring the 8,000 SF Crave Food Hall. 

Dorne previously served as a Project Director for Balfour Beatty Investments. In this role, he managed the development of military family housing privatization projects for the Air Force, which included managing demolition, renovation, new construction and infrastructure improvements.

David Vogt is Project Executive for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. In his role, he is responsible for overseeing select campus projects, specifically as a key player in the pursuit, due diligence and project operations of multiple projects. Dave delivered the 1,246-bed Cross mixed-use mater development project at University of Oklahoma. The project features innovative dining concepts such as a fast-casual sit-down restaurant with outdoor seating, a roast on premises coffee shop, a late night brick oven venue, and a food hall/market. The community also offers a black box theatre, a creator lab, a well-appointed fitness center, music practice, and yoga studios.

Dave has more than 25 years of experience in design, development and construction of large-scale, fast-paced multi-family projects. Dave oversaw all components of a $135M development and construction portfolio that consisted of 510 new homes, 810 renovated homes and three community center amenities via public-private partnership for Corvias Military Living for more than a decade.

Jeff Schattinger’s position as Project Executive for Balfour Beatty Campus Solution involves delivering development and construction oversight for new campus projects. Jeff oversaw the development of the 825-bed sophmore residence hall, Parliament Village at Texas Woman's University delivered Fall 2019.

With more than 25 years in the real estate development and construction industry, Jeff's experience spans working for developers/builders and ENR general contractors constructing multifamily apartment communities, high-rise condominiums and office buildings across the country. With a resume of working companies including Toll Brothers, GMH and others, he developed notable client and investor relations skills, as he’s worked alongside both institutional and private equity investors.

Justin Wright works with clients to deliver key on-campus facilities at Universities and Colleges throughout the United States. Justin collaborates with technical teams to design, finance and develop client-focused project solutions that fulfil immediate priorities while balancing long-term strategic requirements.

Prior to his current role, Justin formulated project finance models in the pursuit of national public private housing partnerships with Balfour Beatty Communities. He is an active member of NACUBO, ACHUHO-I and the Urban Land Institute and recently completed a two-year assignment in Balfour Beatty Investments’ London office, supporting their student housing and multifamily markets.

Brad Murphy is Assistant Vice President for Balfour Beatty Campus Solutions. In this capacity, he is responsible for facilitating the development and construction processes, working with clients and partners to satisfy each client's infrastructure improvement needs, along with identifying the resources required to execute those plans.

Prior to his current role, Brad was Manager of Project Finance & Research for Balfour Beatty Communities, with financial analysis responsibilities for the Company's military housing privatization projects. Previously Brad worked at LEM Mezzanine Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of asset management and loan servicing for equity and debt investments for commercial real estate projects. He was also an associate with Lubert-Adler Partners L.P., where he was involved in acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions of commercial real estate across various asset classes.

As Senior Proposal Manager, Sandra Drain supports the business development team of the firm in proposals, presentations, communications, and other marketing. She synchronizes the efforts of the proposal team, which may be comprised of contractors, architects, engineers, property managers, finance specialists, and other subject matter experts, in order to craft a cohesive response to requests from colleges and universities seeking a partner in executing their capital plans.

Previously, Sandra held a similar position for Balfour Beatty Communities, coordinating proposals for the privatization of military family housing. She is a member of the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM).

Amanda is responsible for working with the business development team to develop proposals and communication materials that effectively convey our ability and desire to partner with higher education institutions to achieve their long-term goals.

Amanda has over 20 years of experience in proposal management. She received her master’s in Business Administration and has most recently spent 13 years at one of the top facility maintenance firms in the country.
